37 drive-thru cashpoint procedures
MALE PROCEDURE
1. Drive up to cash machine.
2. Wind down car window.
3. Insert card into machine and enter PIN.
4. Enter amount of cash required.
5. Retrieve card, cash and receipt.
6. Wind up car window.
7. Drive away.
FEMALE PROCEDURE
1. Drive up to cash machine.
2. Reverse back required distance to align car window to
machine.
3. Re-start stalled engine.
4. Wind down car window.
5. Find handbag and remove all contents on to passenger seat
to locate card.
6. Locate make-up bag and check make-up in rear view mirror.
7. Refill handbag.
8. Attempt to insert card into machine.
9. Open car door to allow easier access due to excessive
distance from car.
10. Insert card into machine.
11. Re-insert card right way up.
12. Re-enter handbag to locate diary with PIN written on
inside page.
13. Enter PIN.
14. Press cancel and re-enter correct PIN.
15. Enter amount of cash required.
16. Re-check make-up in rear view mirror.
17. Retrieve cash and receipt.
18. Empty handbag again to locate purse and place cash
inside.
19. Place receipt in back of cheque book.
20. Refill handbag.
21. Re-check make-up.
22. Drive forward 2 metres.
23. Reverse back to cash machine.
24. Retrieve card.
25. Re-enter handbag to locate card holder and place card
into slot provided.
26. Re-check make-up again.
27. Re-start stalled engine and drive away.
28. Drive for 3 to 4 miles.
29. Release handbrake.
30. Accelerate to 37 mph.
